The Chapel of San Lorenzo, still a fully consecrated church, dates back to the 11th century. Built in the Romanesque style, one enters from the ancient road, Via Francigena. Inside the chapel one will find the tombs of the Cavalcanti, Capponi and Borromeo families. The story is told that this was once tha chapel of asmall group of tomnspeople who also belonged to the Pieve of San Pancrazio (2 Km off). The coat of arms, which is also the logo of the winery, was copied from the original one in stone on the front of the church.
