"ll
Castelvecchio" is a wine obtained from selected grapes of
Sangiovese 90% and Merlot 10% grapes, using the traditional
method of controlled fermentation and vinification.
Fermentation during 12 days in steel vats with a slow
maceration, daily pumping and breathings that allow a major
extraction of tannins, phenolics and anthocyanins. Ageing of
12 months in barriques and further refinement in bottle.

COLOR:
Deep ruby red.
BOUQUET: Intensely fruity with hints of ripe grapes.
TASTE: Moderately dry but soft and good persistence,
acquiring a velvety texture with ageing in bottle.
ALCOHOL: 13.5% vol. NOTES: Serve at 16°-18° C.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS:
As an accompaniment to any meal, particularly with red meat
and fairly savory courses.
