Canaiolo Lombardi vineyard – more than 50 years old – with Guyot breeding system, located in the San Casciano Val di Pesa area.

FEATURES

COLOR: Light ruby red.

BOUQUET: Intense with hints of flower as violet and rose, red berries as cranberries, with balsamic notes as eucalyptus, light spicy hints.

FLAVOR: Medium-bodied with good structure, light balsamic hints, with a balanced acidity and smooth and silky tannins characteristic of the grape, good persistence in the aftertaste.

GRADATION: 15 %

SOMMELIER’S TIPS

This wine can be enjoyable already now, but, for those who can wait a few years, it can be even more pleasant and unexpected. I recommend to opening the bottle a few minutes before serving to oxygenate it slightly. Although it is a red wine, it goes particularly well with tasty fish soups, it can be pair with aperitif , with semi-fresh cheeses and salami, up to meats simple cooked (white and red) or with some vegetables cooked in a pan. To better appreciate it, I recommend cooling the bottle and serving at 15 ° -16 °, in summer I suggest to served even cooler.
