Emotion: The might in harmony.
RED TUSCAN WINE typical geographic indication
With this particular blend we aspire to find the perfect harmony among the 3 grapes, respecting the nuances of every vintage. Hand picked selection of the grapes and the result of an accurate vinification process. Cold maceration for 48 hours, fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steele, daily pumping over and gentle pressing. Ageing of 18 months in oak barrels and further refinement in bottle before being presented on the market.
The name of the wine recalls the gravel, in particular the small pebbles that cover the country roads, also used to drain the vineyards. The name underlines the strong link with the territory as the first wine made under Filippo Rocchi’s direction.
Wine made by Merlot, Petit Verdot and Sangiovese grapes.
Selection of hand-picked from our vineyards Piano (Sangiovese), Cipresso (Merlot), Gaben (Petit Verdot) with the trainig system of cordon spur.
COLOUR: Intense ruby red tending towards garnet hues on ageing.
BOUQUET:Intense nose, suggestion of cherry and plum, aroma of sweet spices, pepper, red rose, tobacco and vanilla.
TASTE: Harmoniously blended, full-bodied, long and persistent, soft tannins, with a pleasant level of acidity.
