CHIANTI D.O.C.G. Organic

This wine reflects the character of the 2 most famous indigenous tuscan grapes. Fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel for 10 days with daily pressings and pumping over. The wine is aged 50% in concrete vats and 50% in barriques and further aging in bottle.

Santa Caterina is our traditional label that represents our first line and its own simplicity reflects the typical tuscan taste of a good glass of Chianti.

The design in the label is a particular of the garden entrance at Castelvecchio, taken form the original one done by Carlo Rocchi in 1962 during his studies at the Academy of Arts in Florence.

Wine obtained from Sangiovese grapes 90% and Black Canaiolo 10%.
Vineyards: Frutteto and Conca (Sangiovese), Grotta (Canaiolo) coltivated with Guyot and cordon spur training system.

CHARACTERISTICS

COLOUR: Ruby red.
BOUQUET: Vinous and fruity, pleasantly intense.
TASTE: Soft with medium body, slightly dry.
ALCOHOL: 13,5%

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Recommended with any savoury meal, mainly meat based dishes and salami. Serving temperature 15°-18° C.
