RED TUSCAN IGT Supertuscan
Manual harvest of the best bunches and subsequent selection. Cold maceration for 48 hours, temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel for 20-25 days with pumping over and gentle pressing. Maturation in new barrels for 15-18 months and further aging in bottle.
Since the 2009 vintage the wine producer has decided to bottle a monovarietal selection of the grape that has given the best results during the year. In the harvest 2009 the best grapes was cabernet Sauvignon but in the subsequent vintages 2010-2011-2013-2015 the most important grape variety was Sangiovese.

COLOUR: Intense red.
BOUQUET: Intense, fruity and floral aromas with mature notes, spicy flavor and balsamic notes.
TASTE: Bold, good structure, velvet tannins and excellent tastefull freshness.
ALCOHOL: 13,5% (2015); 14% (2013)
Wine that can be match with red meat, roasted, game, stew and savory cheeses. Red for long aging. Serving temerature 16°-18° C.
