70% Merlot , 20% Petit Verdot and 10% Sangiovese .
Manual harvest from Piano, Cipresso, Gaben, Traliccio vineyards with spurred cordon system, located in the San Casciano Val di Pesa area.

FEATURES:
COLOR: Intense ruby red.
BOUQUET: Intense nose with suggestion of cherry and plum, flower notes as red roses, aroma of sweet spices as vanilla or liquorice with hints of tobacco and cocoa, suggestions of aromatic herbs as eucalyptus.
TASTE: Full-bodied wine, harmoniously blended, with soft and velvety tannins, round and with a pleasant level of acidity, long persistence in the aftertaste.
ALCOHOL: 15,5%

SOMMELIER’S TIPS:

We recommend opening the bottle at least 1 hour before consumption to appreciate it at its best. Being a great aging red I suggest combining it with structured dishes such as roasted red meats or stewed game or with very seasoned cheeses or with truffles based dishes. If you want to play a little you can have it at the end of a meal with some pieces of dark chocolate (min. 70% max. 80%) to notice as the sweet aroma matches with the smoothness of the Merlot. I recommend serving the bottle slightly cooled at a temperature of 16 °- 18 ° C.
